Samsung introduced its highly anticipated S22 flagship series just a few weeks ago at this year’s Galaxy Unpacked. Now, rumors claim that the Ultra model is experiencing strange display issues.
While the Snapdragon variant has not been noted to have any issues, the Exynos variant appears to have a horizontal pixellated line on the display. Surprisingly, all of these cases include a line running across the phone’s display at around the exact location.
While this could be a software issue, as changing the display mode to Vivid appears to resolve the case, it does not appear to occur frequently, but rather when watching films or playing games.
The corporation has yet to recognize the issue or offer a software patch to address the vulnerability. It remains an embarrassment, all the more so given the phone’s not-so-cheap price tag. The problem arises as the Galaxy S22 Ultra stock is held back in specific retail channels due to high demand.
It has been dubbed one of the year’s greatest smartphones. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display that supports Quad HD+ resolution, HDR10+, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it features a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint reader and is compatible with the S Pen.
